
Jean-Pierre Mello, was born in 1932, his father is a sculptor. As his live its course, his talent, which had already been noticed by his teacher, the painter Gustave François (brother of Maurice Barraud), began to emerge and ligth in 1982 under the influence of a Spanish painter. He had regular exhibitions since 1983 and won awards in a number of Geneva competitions. His canvases are to be found in collections in France, Italiy, Germany, the United States, Ukraina, India, Senegal and Haiti. His works glow with light. A light that gives depth to his flickering shadows and makes the color burst from the volumes. |
